China aircrew escape technology has witnessed significant development in the past decade. A series of new generation escape systems have been developed and put into service. Development capability has been greatly increased. This paper summarizes the advancements in the escape performance and the reliability of the new types of escape systems as well as the new changes in the design production and testing capabilities, which has laid a good foundation for the ongoing research of escape system and provided the basis for further extensive co-operation and exchange in this field.
