RETROFITTING EXISTING FACILITIES WITH MEMBRANE FILTRATION

摘要

The City of White Plains purchases most of its water from New York City. However, White Plains also has its own reservoirs, which were taken out of service in 1992 due to non-compliance with the Surface Water Treatment Rule. This paper describes the process of evaluation, selection, design, and construction of filtration facilities for the City of White Plains to restore these reservoirs to service.
