摘要

The stachastic medium theory is introduced for hte prediction of ground surface settlement due to tunneling in urban areas in this paper. The prediction formulae and procedures for some special tunneling construction methods, such as artificial ground freezing, squeezing shields, tunneling with the aid of compressed air, are discussed. Some examples of history case are analyzed and indicate that the proposed method in this paper can be used to assess the impact of tunneling on the overlying environment.
