The Shielding of Underground Cable Systems-Comparison between Calcualtion and Measurements

The shielding of the magnetic field of underground power cable systems with constructional steel plates is investigated. For the calcualtion the material was modelled using an effective permeability, which allows a sinusoidal calcualtion. The obtained results are compared with measurements in order to check their reliability.
