摘要

The two-dimensional spectra of ocean surface waves are measured by the Pi-SAR: an airborne high resolution dual-frequency synthetic aperture radar developed by the CRL and NASDA. The wavenumber vectors of major wave components change its direction on an observation path crossing the Kuroshio. The traveling direction of major wave component estimated from the spatial change of wavenumber vector with the wave-current interaction model agree with the traveling direction estimated from the spatial change of spectral intensity of these components. By analyzing the spatial change of 2D-spectra of ocean waves, the spatial feature of current can be measured by airborne synthetic aperture radar.
