Possibilities of Increasing Operational Performances of Pp-55 Steam Generators by the Modification of Burners Configuration

The paper is based on a practical request viewing the difficulty of achieving rated steam flow in Pp-55 steam generator within a coal-supplied pwoer station. In order to solve the problem a costructional and functional analysis was made of the following: coal-grinding mills, coal dust supply circuits, burners, steam genertors. Analytical studies were made, followed by a solution consisting of: correlation of mill operation with coal grade, dimensional modification of burners and fixing additional burners.
