Except for a very few viscose fibre producers, most of the viscose staple fibre plants in operation are searching for new process innovations and technologies and, of course for some sign that the market is beginning to develop beyond the stagnant market stage, characterised by low market prices, and beginning to attain better margins by reorganising and reducing production costs. With a new spinning technology for the staple fibre process, called "SXS-Spinning, Lezing Technik is ready to serve the market in terms of this demand with a new kind of equipment. The focus of the new system is on higher specific production capacity, and improvements in quality parameters, environmental considerations, productivity and production costs. Both, existing production line, which require renovation and modification, and investments in new and additional capacities, including greenfield plants, will achieve benefits from the advantages of this new system.
