Application of New Synthetic Fiber Technology in Japan

Table 1 shows the history of synthetic fiber technology development in Japan. Over the decades, the technological progress has been directed toward the speed - up of processes, continuous operations, the development of delicate, elaborate processing techniques, and the combination of different technologies. Of these technologies, this report summarizes the current status of technological development and the applications of developed technologies, especially in the fiber - making sector.
