摘要

The absorption investigation in a number of diamond disks for output windows of megawatt gyotrons in the range of frequencies 50-180 GHz are carried out. It was found out that after high temperature brazing, the disc's surfaces get the additional number of free charge carries in thin, lambda, surface layer leading to the additional absorption. This additional absorption leads both to the overheating of the usrfaces and to the surface discharges.
