An analysis of how the experimented Helico-Axial Multiphase Pump works when in different operating conditions such as rotation speed, suction pressure, and air-water mixer upstream etc. is presented. Pressure distribution along each boosting cell has been examined. Some conclusion can be drawn as follows; At f fixed gas void fraction (GVF), a higher rotation speed improves performance of Helico-Axial Multiphase Pump to get larger pressure increase and efficiency with the critical GVF point moving backward. Pressure distribution shows a linear relationship when handling single phase and non-linear when two-phase pumping. In addition, several equations to express the Multiphase Pump head under air-water two-phase flow donditions have been discussed.
