摘要

The changes of functional-group and molecular-weight distribution of asphalt for paving in ageing at different temperatures were studied. The result showed that the absorbance area of carbonyl was increasing in continuous ageing, and in the absorbance area of sulfoxide there was a maximum value. In addition, the experiment found that both the content of higher molecular weight composition in the asphalt and the average molecular weight of the asphalt were increased increased in ageing. The ageing mechanism was considered that there was intermolecular association among polar functional groups in the asphalt during ageing.
