In addition to getting the structural, behavioral and information integration of the enterprise so as to achieve further model-driven enterprise design, analysis and operation, the motivation of Dynamic Enterprise Modeling (DEM) is to provide the dynamic configuration of models and applications to support business re-engineering and enterprise integration. In this paper, we present the Enterprise Integration Framework based on DEM, whose main goal is to enable integration of enterprise through shared, dynamic and consistent models. Then, after presenting an overview of DEM principles and system foundations, we put forward DEM model architecture. Finally, a component-based DEM system structure is proposed as a realization view of dynamic enterprise modeling system development and application. As the ongoing support for Enterprise Integration, a brief discussion of current activities and future research directions of DEM concludes this paper.
