摘要

The most frequent use of satellite imageries for nuclear safeguards is the visual interpretation of highresolution optical satellite imagery. However, these images are not always available either because a specific site was not tasked or archived in the past, or the area has been obstructed by cloud. This paper shows how low-resolution multispectral (LANDSAT) and radar imagery (RADARSAT-1) can be used to supplement and complement high-resolution optical imagery in the remote verification of nuclear related facilities with two case studies.
