摘要

Pressure and frictional stress acting on the boundary surface in the mandrel mill rolling of aluminum tube have been measured using stress sensors embedded on the roll surface. The stress sensor can detect both pressure and frictional stress in any direction by a single detection pin. Three stress sensors were assembled in the grooved roll at different positions in the width direction. Pressure and frictional stress distributions at three positions have been detected along the arc of contact. Experiments were made on the first pass and the second pass of the aluminum tube of initial diameter 60mm, 10mm thickness. The measured data have been compared with FEM simulation results. Pressure patters well agrees with each other and the tendency of the friction change is also similar.
