The important properties of diamond films, such as density, extreme hardness, chemical inertness, and the unusual combination of high electrical resistivity and thermal conductivity, have opened the pathways for numerous technological applications of this material in the areas of microelectronic Gircuitry, tribology, coatings, and optics. Several analytical techniques have been utilized to explore its detail structures and defects of the diamond films. However, it is quite difficult for solid state NMR method to study diamond films. The major reason is that the long spin-lattice relaxation time of ~(13)C.
