SIMULATION OF THE EXCITATION CURRENT OF TRANSFORMERS USING EMTP

摘要

This paper presents a comparably complete simulation of the excitation current of transformers using EMTP. The homologous equivalents of circuits in EMTP are also provided with the simulating results. The results show that EMTP has the excellent ability to simulate the different types of transformers by rearranging some simple components supplied by EMTP.
