Managming Patent Quality: Examples/Advice for Offshore/Marine Technology

With patents, as with blowout preventers, failure in the field is an expensive way to obtain the necessary feedback for quality control. However, where quality and reliability issues are concerned, engineering and corporate managemers typically understand better how to communicate with engineers that with lawyers. This talk presents some tools for managers to communicate with their patent lawyers regarding patent quality.
