A dyanmic beam on a nonlinear Winkler foundation (BNWF) model for analyzing seismic soilpile-structure interaction was evaluated against the results of a series of dynamic centrifuge model tests. Three different structures supported by piles, including a 3x3 group, in soft clay overlying dense sand were subjected to nine different earthquake events. Representative examples of recorded and calculated behavior are presented.
