摘要

The galss curtain walls of Shanghai Jinmao Building are designed and fabricated by a foreign company.The minimum thickness of aluminium alloy frame sections is 2.5 mm,less than the value of 3 mm specified by Chinese Technical Code for Glass Curtain Wall Engineering.Static tests on full-sized mullions with two typical cross sections are carried out in this paper,to judge whether the aluminium alloy sections with such thickness are able to resist the wind load in Shanghai area.The test results show tat both strength and deformation of mullions can satisfy the safety requirements of Chinese Technical Code,and their compressive flanges and webs can keep stable.
