IMPROVING BUILDING ENERGY EFFICIENCY THROUGH MODIFICATIONS OF OPERATIONAL STRATEGIES

摘要

This paper addresses the methodology of an energy audit aimed at modifying building energy efficiency. The energy audit was conducted on an office building located in Kuwait and targeted the operational strategies of the building, namely for air-conditioning and lighting systems. The paper further explores the achieved savings that represented 25% of the building total annually consumed energy without any capital investment.
