摘要

Direct torque control is an emerging technique for controlling the induction motor drives. This paper presents, an effective scheme which is based on variable switching sectors that depends on the stator flux vector position. By using a fictitious stator position angle (α) instead of the real one (define for the conventional DTC), it is possible to improve the stator flux response in constant-torque and field weakening regions and reduce the flux locus distortion as well as the harmonics contents of stator currents. The overall scheme is simple and results of extensive simulation will be presented and discussed to prove the effectiveness of the scheme in whole speed region.
