On the earth-moving heavy vehicles such as excavator and wheel loader, the large-scale diesel engine is equipped, normally. It would be very important to optimize the dynamic characteristics of engine mounts, because on the case of large-scale diesel engine it has huge weight inertia. To find out the dynamic characteristics of engine and mounts should be the first step of optimization. It would be difficult to measure the natural vibration by using normal measurement procedure, because the firing components mask the natural behaviors of engine. Furthermore, to obtain the dynamic characteristics of mounts, it should be taken care of treating.
