Modified IF converter for mobile communication receiver

摘要

Traditional superheterodyne receivers used in mobile communication are difficult to get high performance, especially in get broad dynamic range, when complex AGC circuits and high precision analog components must be used. We propose ad utilized an improved structure of the sigma-delta modulator (SDM) used for the IF signal direct conversion superheterodyne receivers, which can get almost same or even better performance with far less complexity and cost.
