OPTICAL FIBER LONG PERIOD GRATINGS FOR REFRACTOMETRY

摘要

The refractive indices of sodium chloride and calcium chloride acqueous solutions were measured by means of optical fiber long-period gratings. The resolutions achieved were comparable with those offered by conventional Abbe refractometers commonly used for concentration measurements.
