Creep-rupture tests were performed on 2-1/4Cr-1Mo steel plate material in two typical PWHT conditions; renormalized and tempered, and stress relieved. The nominal plate thickness was 50mm. Tests were conducted at temperatures from 650C to 700C and at stresses from 41.4MPa to 78.6MPa. The creep and rupture properties were nearly identical for the two PWHTs and were above mean strength were enarly identical for the two PWHTs and were above mean strength for normalized and tempered plate material. The Monkman-Grant constant was aproximately 3.9
