Carbon Emissions and Building Structure: What the Structural Engineer Needs to Know about Carbon in the 21st Century

The SEI Sustainability Committee formed a Carbon Working Group (CWG) in December 2009, chaired by this paper's lead author. The CWG is developing a white paper addressing building structure and carbon emissions which will be completed this year. The present paper is an interim report describing the CWG's findings to date.
