摘要

A new algorithm for dipping-effect correction of the High-Definition Induction Logging (HDIL) data has been developed. The new algorithm is implemented based on the newly derived geometrical factors that generalize the Doll geometrical factor to the dipping beds. Processing of the synthetic data and real logging data verifies that this new algorithm works reasonably well for a wide range of dip angles (up to 75 degrees).
