E ffective analysis o f petroleum geological logging data is one o f the key technical m eans to accurately discover oil and gas reservoirs. The D ipping- effect include the charge effect and the volum etric effect, dipping correction is to elim inate the im pact caused b y volum e item s and electric charge item s, b y m eans o f deviated w ell data being converted into sim ilar vertical w ell m easurem ent data. T here are currently tw o D ipping-effect correction m ethods: one based on the analytical m ethod to analyze dipping geom etrical factors and the other based on the finite difference m ethod. This paper w ill com bine both to create a new m ethod o f dipping-effect correction. A nd designed a filter for correction, according to the com puter sim ulation for the O klahom a m odels to confirm the effectiveness o f the new m ethod. The results show that the new m ethod can effectively correct the dipping-effect in the m easured data w ith dip angle up to 80°, Finally, b y processing the A rray induction logging m easured data, the effectiveness and practical application ability o f the algorithm are further verified. The continuous im provem ent o f the correction theory has optim ized the evaluation o f petroleum reservoirs and played a positive role in ensuring the continuous supply o f p etroleum resources in China.
