摘要

Biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) films are widely used for packaging applications. When testing a new grade, it takes usually a great amount of material to rate its processability due to the large size of commercial BOPP lines. With temperature dependent uniaxial elon-gational rheometry a laboratory method is proposed, which allows to predict the processability by using a few grams of material. The impact of polymer structure and melt morphology will be discussed.
