摘要

The temperature fluctuation and radial displacement at the bore of a spark ignition engine were predicted using a finite element model. The sensitivity of the solution was determined by solving the model for various combinations of parameters. The parameter combination resulting in the greatest variation in temperature across the inner liner wall is low cast iron thermal conductivity with the presence of large casting voids.
