摘要

In the process of design of the building structure "Gohran" - the Treasury of the NationalBank in Almaty, Kazakstan, considering the specific site conditions, the importance of thebuilding, the function and type of the structural system, investigations of the site seismicity,structural analysis and experimental investigation on the model of the structure and full scaleforced vibration tests were necessary to be carried out. The building is located in a zone ofextremely high seismicity of 9.5 MKS degrees. The building itself is designed to have a basement,a ground floor and three storeys. The treasury is situated in the basement and the ground floor. Design,verification of seismic stability of the designed structure and seismic shaking table testing ofthe structural model was performed in IZIIS-Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. Forced vibration testswere performed by the KAZNIISA Institute, Almaty, Kazakstan.
