摘要

Friction and wear characteristics of plasma-sprayed Cr_2O_3 coating against SiC bulk at different loads and sliding velocities under water lubrication were investigated.The worn surfaces wre examined by means of SEM and XPS.The results obtined indicated that low friction coefficient and wear coefficient appeared in the wear process of Cr_2O_3 coatin gagainst SiC bulk.The wear of Cr_2O_3 coatin gis caused by micro fracture along the borders of pores and plastic deformation.the wear of SiC bulk is due to formation of SiO_2 by tribochemical reaction and dissolution of SiO_2 in water.
