Sealed Four Row Tapered Roller Bearings Development, Application and Benefits for Rolling Mills

Effectively designed, sealed four row tapered roller bearings will provide increased service life and dramatically reduce overall operating costs. Integral bearing seals retain the bearing's lubricant while preventing the ingress of contaminants while preventing the ingress of contaminants and rolling solution. As a result of design and versatility, various lubricant delivery techniques and systems can be utilized (grase charges/regreasing, oil-mist and air-oil) to maximize performance as well as maintenance requirements. Newly developed life adjustment factors can now be applied to four row tapered roller bearings, further supporting the sealed advantages.
