摘要

Thin-slab casting is gaining ground in steel minimills as a cost-effective production route for flat products. Direct rolling increases the benefits of the process in reducing the costs of conventional reheating and rolling, however the rolling significantly redueced with thin-slab casting. Therefore, it is necessary to design the microalloying composition and the thermomechanical-rolling process to achieve the desired steel microstructure.
