摘要

To render operation of high temperature natural gas combustion systems environmentally benign,highly active thermally stable catalytic mateirals are needed.A low cost of such materials is also very important.Materials suitable for high temperature catalytic combustion have been searched for decades,but only recently,importnat practical advancements in this area have been made.One of these is the development of manganese substituted lanthanum strontium hexaaluminates which conserve high catalytic activity even after aging at temperatures well above 1300 deg C.Nevertheless,although these materials do not necessarily satisfy all requriement,little new developments have been made sine their introduction.based on our previous work and most recent literature data,we have been able to design new highly performing materials,for which simple low cost preparation methods have bene developed.In this paper we report some representative results.
