摘要

In this work we analyze thermodynamically the general problem of material redistribution of a two-phase field in the presence of a fixed temperature gradient. Local equilibrium is assumed throughout. Heat and mass fluxes are modeled based on standard Onsager relations. This anlaysis allows us to obtain analytical conditions describing phase coexistence under an imposed temperature gradient.
