Operator support systems in power plants - a survey and new developments

摘要

This paper gives an overivew over a number of techniques for operator support in power plants, which have been prototypically implemented at the Institute for Process- and Production Control Technology (IPP) of the Technical University of Clausthal (TUC). Special emphasis is put on methods for early recognition and identification of unknown situations. A distinction is made between "Advisory Systems" and the "Human-Machine-Interface (HCI)" proper.
