Controlled safety pressure relief systems in power plants in accordance with the german standards and cen/iso

For over 30 years controlled safety pressure relief systems (german working: ,gesteuertes Sicherheitsventil") have been successfully used as safety device against pressure transpgression especially in power plants - both in conventional as well as in nuclear power stations. The success of these valves rests on the fact that in contrast to directly loaded safety valves they ofer advantages regarding capacity, leakproofness up to actuation and the testability. This inevitably results in a high degree of safety and simultaneously a high availability of the plant.
