The paper describes Stora Norrsundet's approach to upgrading the recausticizing plant to a stage-of-the-art facility and at the same time increasing white liquor production and providing flexibility for future capacity increase.the simplified process reducees non process elemnets in the system and allows utilization of existing equipment in the plant.
