摘要

This study approach the basic investigation to evaluate the urban land covers including materials, forms and distributions from the point of the thermal environment. THis study adopted a index"heat island potential" developed by authors. Hence the basic sutyd for constructing the HIP map was carried out. HIP behaivor with land cover characteristics has bee nexamined. SOme areas of various land uses were chosen as study sites. First land ocver parameters based on the thermal aspect wer set, such as building sructure, main use, building coverage ratio, floor area rato and so on. second urban blocks were classified using he land cover parameters. HIP of the representative blocks were calculated and time seuqential images of HIP were obtained. Finally, we investigated the relationship between HIP andthe land cover conditions using the regression analysis. This investigation identified the HIP controling parameters and the possibility of the HIP prediction using the land cover condition was confirmed by the multiple regression analysis.
