Environment-Conscious Houses with External Insulation

People who wish to get a house may either choose a pre-designed house or take part in the house themselves with the assistance of consultant. This report concerns design of wooden houses in which the client has also taken an active part. If the client of the house is to become both the owner and user of the house, the architect should be the consultant with regards to the design of the house. The architect, who acts as both the consultant and agent for the clinet, should advise the client on reasonable and economic goals with regard to the house design. If the client wishes to have an environment-conscious design, he will needs all the more. Design is not simply decoration. In designing the house, the architect should consider all the client's requests concerning, for example, the facade, insulation, cost, materials, ventilation and so on.
