Energy dependence of the lineshape obtained with a silicon-lithium detector has been establshed using monochromatized synchrotron radiation. This peak shape calibration is ued to process X-ray spectra obtained with radionuclides decaying by electron capture (~(51)Cr, ~(54)Mn, ~(55)Fe, ~(57)Co, ~(59)Ni and ~(65)Zn). X-ray intensity ratios K #beta# K #alpha# are determined, taking account of secondary phenomena such as satellite lines and the radiative Auger effect.
