摘要

The influence of ittria-doped ZrO_2 addition on thermal behaviour, microstructure and mechanical properties of beta-spodumene ceramic obtained by glass powder sintering method has been investigated. The thermal expansion coefficient ranging from 1.2x10~-7 to 8.3x10~-7 K~-1 and addition of Y-PSZ increase it linearly. Compression strength of beta-spodumene ceramic was fond to be 550MPa and can be improve by addition of Y-PSZ to the value of 650MPa. Similar effect was observed for bending strength. Long time of sitnering lowers mechanical performances of beta-spodumene ceramic doped with Y-PSZ due to grain grow effect.
