Modeling Landscape Dynamics and Effects of Sea-Level Rise On Coastal Wetlands of Northwest Florida

Nature preserves and refuges in coastal areas of our nation are slowly being inundated by increasing sea level. Warming of our gllbal environment threatens to speed the rate of sea-level rise and increase rates of habitat change. A research study is underway to examine the ability to predict changes in coastal vegetation caused by sea level rise.
