A technique of preparative electrophoretic separation of proteins in a multicompartment electrolyzer using microporous membrane has been developed in this paper. Theoretical analysis has been done on this electrophoretic separation process, leading to a mathematical model in terms of effective electrophoretic mobility. Electrophoretically transport and concentration and separation of bovine serum albumin (BSA) and hemoglobin (HBB) have been studied. Expermental reuslts are quite agree with the model. HBB can be concentrated to 4.33 times. BSA can be purified to 97.5
