Liquid culture of plant shoot and micropropagation bioreactors

Based on the liquid culture of Musa spitualte shoots in shaed flasks, a 600 ml dripping bioreactor, a 5L spray medium-circular bioreactor and a 15L multi-flat bioreactor were designed for the liquid cultivation of plant tissues. By using these bioreactors, the shoots of Musa spitulate, Aloe vera and Chrysanthemum spp were cultured i nthe modified MS liquid medium.s The cultivation results showed that the propagation of plant shoots cultivated in the newly developed bioreactors not only shortened the culture period but also increased the multiplication rate.
