Possibilities of Unconventional Use of South-Moravian Lignite

Coals of low degrees of coalification are economically extremely important raw materials. All of them have a long time perspective. Lignite belongs to this group of low-rank caustobiolites. In the Czech Republic exploits lignite at present time only in South Moravia in mine Mikulcice.Currently lignite represents only a low calorific fuel. It is possible to use the lignite in its original state as a carbonaceous fertilizer.But lignite can be use as a prospective raw material regarding its content of humic acids and its sorption properties.Considering to these properties lignite should be supposed as raw material for its transformation to sorption material in ecological sphere for sorption of harmful substances and for other technical uses, too.
