The role of catalyst in the solvent-free liquefaction of coal

The role of a dispersed catalyst in the initial stages of direct coal liquefaction has been illuminated by extensive characterization of the insoluble products from thermal and catalytic microautoclave liquefaction experiments and comparison of their properties.
