Information Technology and Preventive Medicine: A Vision to Improve the Quality of care Delivered at Community Health Care Clinics

Information technology is underutilizedi n the health care indutry as a means of improving the quality of delivered care while reducing costs. Our vision is to improve the quality of care in the United States by creatign an information-on-demand (IOD) technology system equipped with topics relating to preventive medicine and patient education. The technology would encompass, but not limited to: kiosk systems, intra-facility IOD terminals, and the Internet.
