摘要

This paper presents a synthesis of a power system stabilizer (PSS) based on the H_∞ theory in conjunction with the bilinear transform. In contrast to the standard H_∞-PSS, the proposed two inputs (Δω and ΔT_e) one output controller has the advantage of increasing the damping of lightly damped nominal power plant modes and maintaining the stability of the system for a wide range of operating conditions.Simulation results show that the proposed PSS is more effective than both the conventional PSS and the standard H_∞-PSS.
